norinco m43 122gr fmj non-corrosive 7.62 x 39

What has been your experience with this ?

Is it truly non-corrosive, including the Primer ?

Who does it compare to Barnaul

The primer is the only suspect component. "Corrosive" primers leave a salt deposit in the barrel. Salt, plus moisture in the air leads to rust. hence "corrosive".

If you wipe the bore with a water soaked patch, or pour some hot water down the barrel, the salt is washed away.

If the package says "Norinco" and "Non-corrosive" I would believe it.

Yeah, that’s what I meant. One box to check, then bulk order if it passes.

Probably the only way forward, as there is a distinct lack of info on Google or You Tube that gives a definitive answer.

The ammo is labelled Non-Corrosive, but has Berdan Primers.

The best I could get is that these may very well contain Salt, even if the Ammo is described as Non-Corrosive.

Yes, it may but it probably doesn't. The three different kinds of Norinco non-corrosive I have shot sure seemed to not be corrosive. I have no idea which ammunition you are talking about specifically. Norinco x39 is often described by the box color, Norinco white box x39, Norinco Silver box x39 etc...

Never had or heard of any corrosive issues with the Norinco white box currently on sale. Definitely non corrosive as far as I'm concerned.
