Just picked one up from Frontier.
Neat little pistol.Jam free after a first few mag break in,and accurate to boot.

A couple of questions though,is it necessary to break down the slide off the frame to clean the cosmoline inside?I got all the crap off the exterior and inside chamber/breechface/extractor ect.

Also from what I've read this is one rimfire to not dry fire.
Is there any way to de-#### this gun?

no decocker. One I had loved federal plated ammo. Great value for the money!

So just keep on safe and cocked?
This thing loves federals, flawless feed. Not so much with whinny 555's

Btw I think I need a bigger pistol safe...lol

No problem keeping it cocked. Modern, quality springs do not wear out or 'take a set' from staying in a compressed state (within their designed range of compression) - They wear out from changing between compressed and uncompressed states.

Those m93s clean up real nice! They're a surprisingly good copy of the pre-war Colt Woodsman. Excellent steel in mine, even if the finish is a bit primitive.

Yes mine hated Winchester too.

I would rather dry fire it once at the end of every range session than keep it cocked all the time. best thing to do is get some .22 snap caps.

Do not take it apart any more than the the usual. I brushed on some paint thinner on parts that were giving me trouble and after an oiling it worked fine even without taking that dang blasted spring and shaft out.

I've sold mine since i never used it, but they really aren't that hard to disassmble.

pull slide ALL the way back, push the little button down on the top, that holds the spring in place. Then using a small screwdriver pop the mainspring housing off from the bottom near the magwell, but behind the mag release. The manspring housing pops out and the mag relase spring too. Then the slide comes off and you can clean up the internals easier. No real need to take it apart any farther than that unless you really really want to.

When you put it back together the slide goes on first then the mag release spring goes in under the little dangly bar (i don't know the correct name for it). Make sure you line up the dangly bar so it fits into the hole in the mainspring housing, then the housing goes back in in a rocking motion.

There is a great video on youtube that shows what i've said. Just search for m93 and you'll find it.
