Hi everyone. After having my restricted licence for years, I just bought my first handgun, a simple Norinco M93 rimfire. Pretty cool little gun for not a lot of cash. Anyway, I noticed on the badger site they list this as no longer in production. Is this actually correct? no other site seems to indicate that this is the case.

correct, what's in Canada is most probably the last we will see from them... got mine last month and i love how it makes more noise than when i shoot some .38 lol

the price is right solid little pistol, I have a hard time justifying spending more on another .22 pistol. only thing i would like is a source for some alternative grips.

The hogue small slip on fit over the existing grips

Words of advice:

don't disassemble this pistol, flush it out with brake clean or wd-40

If you use brake-clean or similar, take off the grips and the mag and keep them far away, it will eat them quickly.

Sand the edges of the grips to remove sharp bits

make sure you clean the factory gunk out completly before shooting.

I think I would check with Marstar for the 'still in production' question. Weren't they the importers? It's hard to believe (but not impossible) that production of such a popular item would be stopped.

Ebay and grips4u.net have Colt Woodsman grips available, which might work (maybe with a little fitting - Can anyone comment?). There was also a thread here that linked to a custom gripmaker. After looking at those prices, though, I decided to make my own.

Just noticed that SFRC says they're getting more in a week:

Im debating on getting either a woodsman, or ruger mk3, 5.5" bull barrel

the woodsman is easily 1/2 of the cost of the mk3

What should I get?
