Hi all I'm new here. Nice Site!

I plan to buy a Norinco np-28.(9mm)

1-Do you think it is a good choice (instead of a Para-ordnance LTC)
without de finishing
2- When I look at marstar's picture, it seems used and scratchy. Does it realy like on the picture ? Or its more blued ?

Thank you!

I've had a NP-28 for a few years that I have put a ton of shells through. It is a very reliable platform but you will have to factor in a trigger job into the price. The fit and finish will not compare to the Para but it all comes down to what you want in a gun.

I've owned an NP-28 for about a year and a half. It's great. Goes bang everytime I pull the trigger and has not failed me. The finish on mine is better than I would have expected for a norc and even some guys at the range look twice when I say it's a norc.

No problem with it and you can't beat the price point. Just buy 4-5 mags with it, cause when your in a groove 10 shots go by quick. 10 shots, reload, 10 shots, reload, get old fast.

Have fun with it.

If I understand, the precision will be the same! Thank you guys, I realy appreciate your help! Anyway when you buy A first gun you did'nt realy know what you need, then why get a 1200$ Gun for starting.

P.S Can you tell me more about trigger job please? What kind of job, the cost approx...

Thank you!

For the trigger your looking at $150-$300 depending on what you get done. Replacing the hammer, sear and sear spring is a good start. If you have the smith start fabricating parts for trigger replacement it'll take you up to the $250-$300 mark for the job.
