Norinco NP 29 problems

This must be a newer generation NP-29?

I have an 8 year old smooth slide NP-29 and it has run flawlessly since day 1.

well after switching out the extractor for a new Ed Brown one, polished the barrel and changing the barrel link, same results, it will not eject and the action jams solid, next course of action is to send it back to the company I bought it off :(

here is a pic of this mornings endeavor

It doesn't matter the name on the slide. It's still "still" a 1911. I'm sure that any number of decent 1911 smiths could fix this issue in a blink.

whats your extracted brass look like? i wonder if the chamber is not smooth or has a bubble in it causing the brass to jam when it forms to it.

hey
not sure if your having problems still.
would it be safe to say that after the round is sent down range the casing james inside the barrel and the slide won't move?
I had this with the russion surplus ammo in my P762 turns out was an ammo problem . the ammo was not copper washed so when the end of the casing expaned to allow the round out it jammed inside the barrel and I had to take my sks cleaning rod to jam it down the barrel to free the spent casing....when I shot copper washed ammo everthing worked perfectly, except my aim...lol
hope you got it figured out...my norinco 45acp so far has ran perfectly.
good luck with locating the problem and keep us informed.
Glenn.
