Does anyone know of a good tactical holster that is compatible with the NP30? The gun itself seems have a little extra girth compared to a 1911 sport or gov model.

Are there after market mags available for the NP30. The norinco mags are garbage!



Is there any NP30 owners who have made mods to their gun and can make some recommendations?

my Norc mag works perfect. Grips from my Taurus fit it so there shouldn't be an issue. Customizing it will be tough as none of the sights you can buy will fit it without a smith.

Sorry you're having a bad time with your mags.

FWIW. I own a Norinco NP-30 and a NP-30N. I have a total of 5 magazines that work very well in both guns.

There are no aftermarket mags made for the NP-30 AFAIK.

Thin 1911 grip scales are available.
It is a wide-body 1911 after all.

The sights are blocky and akward looking thats for sure.
The sight picture however, is pretty decent. IMHO.
Certainly a mile ahead of the original USGI 1911 pimple sights.
