Hey Guys,
I'm thinkin' I might like a 9mm for my next pistol. I've been lookin' at all sorts of stuff and found my self staring at the NP-34 (SIG P228)... both the pistol it's self and the price tag. For those of you who own or have owned a NP-34, what do you think of them? What are some of the problems with them? Is the quality there? I own a Nork 1911C and if the NP-34 is anything like the 1911, I'd buy one in a heartbeat....

Guess the only thing remaining is for Marstar to get some in :D

I had the norinco sig 226 copy and I wouldn't suggest it. The fit and finish wasn't good, although, I expected that from the price tag. The grips are hard plastic like on a toy and had to be replaced immediately. It wasn't nearly as accurate as the real thing. But the big one was after a few months of owning it and even though I religiously cleaned and oiled the gun, I was finding some sort of corrotion on some of the internals. The part was a normail silver color but turned to a browny red like it was rust but it wasn't pitted or textured like rust. It was the first gun I ever sold. I'm love buying guns but it is very rare for me to part with one.
