Norinco NP22 and NP58 rail issue

I am waiting for the transfers to come through for a NP22 and NP58 I bought recently and was watching a video on you tube where the presented said the rail on the Norinco's were non standard and nothing he had could be mounted on them.
Can someone verify this for me? I was going to mount a combination Laser/ Flashlight on one and a red dot laser on the other.
 
Although I cannot confirm specific flashlight / laser models, this is not true.

I have however had a real bi$tch of a time finding a holster for my NP22.

No I never had any problems.

Any Sig P226 Holster will work, at least it did with my NP-22.
 
I have seen several NP22 posts regarding lights & lasers that due fit(I Believe all NCStar products fit)

I specifically want a 5.11 Thumb Drive or Black Hawk Serpa. I have been told by many dealers the either will fit. I know there are holsters that are compatible with the NP22, however I don't want a standard holster - I require a type of retention / secure fit type.

Due to the odd rail on the NP22 I have been advised many holsters will not work.

Can the serpa be modified?

I'm not sure what you're saying, the NP22 is an exact copy of the Sig Sauer P226. Any holster that hits a P226 will fit the NP22....
 
if the rail is larger/wider than the real 226, try buying a holster for the Navy MK25 model as those guns have non-standard size rail as well

It's not, same size as the regular P226. My NP-22 fit every P226 holster I slid it into.
