Greetings,
I need some help. I know (believe...dreamed...thought there was) there was a thread about this but can't seem to find it.

So when Norinco NP29 9mm ejects brass straight back at the shooter hitting in face or forehead what is the solution?
Currently the ejector is completely square; no angles
I believe the solution was to file the EJECTOR at an angle...or a compound angle....?
I thought someone had posted a photo of the geometry with some shading to assist in what it should look like.

What would the solution be?

out of curiosity, did you swap your recoil and/or hammer springs for lighter ones?

I have had a number of Norc 1911s that ejected back into my head. here is the fix:

I have tweaked the extractor on some 1911s.

Remove the extractor, and then stick it back into the frame, backwards.

The frame is now a holder/handle for the extractor, so you can push on the extractor to give it a bit more tension.

If I understood it correctly, higher contact rotates case mouth more toward lower edge of ejection port, thus more likely to hit me in the face? Or more simply, green is good red is bad?

Trying to fit a new ejector to my Remington R1 in 9mm. Old ejector had the pin slot drilled out too much and is loose.
