Just had to drop a note to say I received my 9mm today and if you don't have one of these than you better get on it, the gun is a nice solid unit and the service is bar none thanks Paul!

Got mine a few days ago, I concur great solid gun at a amazing price. I have put about 150 rounds through it now.

Been waiting for mine for a month now. Somehow, every time I order from Canam the CFC seems to take for ever to authorize transfer. With everybody else it's 1 week on average. Go figure!

I like mine and think it has a very good fit and finish.

Accurate and reliable.

Now I'd like to see a Norinco 1911 in 40S&W.

Nice handgun. I was just curious why you went with the 9mm over the 45 in 1911. Do you already have a 45 or was it just preference? I was looking at the NP30 as I like the fact of having a 10 round 45. Glad to hear you are enjoying it however. Norinco really are a good value platform.

The owner Roger is one of the top Gunsmiths in Ontario..He designed a .40 based on the Norinco .45 tuned it for IPSC..It's manufactured for him by Norinco.

Double Stack = fat grip

Personally, I went for the 9mm because it's much cheaper to shoot than .45.

Is that good or bad? The NP29 is the only handgun I know. I'm new to handguns (well, every gun really).

1911 is big enough. Fat grip makes sense in US where you can use high-cap mag. In Canada 10 rds is the limit so most people don't like/need double stack.

Hard to beat the value of a NP29, one heavy pistol. Combine with fast, great service of CanAmo excellent buy, free shipping to boot.

Still waiting for mine :( Didn't help that the CFC didn't bother to contact the seller (retailer) that they'd approved the transfer (again)

BC CFC has been surprisingly quick with my tfr of late. Ordered my NP29 when it first came out several months ago on a Sunday, in my hands by Thursday or Friday. Being taking only a couple of days lately for Restricted.

Only way to practice cheap 45ACP is to pour your own lead. Only $44 for primer & pwdr for 1000 rnds, 45 brass last for many, many reloads. Lead is the expensive part. If you can find it at a buck a pound ~$80 for a thousand rnd. Hard to believe only 35c a pound not that long ago.

No kidding! Been waiting for that one too, but onlyto scrap the barrel and put in a brand new one in 10mm. I just can't wait! ;)
