Norinco NZ 85F

You aren't buying them in 7.62x25, which is the only draw for me to the 85F. Of course CZ is a superior manufacturer but people who like niche things have to take what they can get.

May I ask why you would want one in that caliber anyways?

They must be pretty good pistols , used ones are selling for more than they were brand new
I like they have the frame safety like a 1911 , and if it better than a Jericho as prev posted , whats not to like

Please Bring in More of these cz-85 type pistols and parts kits

I’ve always loved 7.62x25. Fast and flat shooting in most guns that aren’t Tokarevs. My NP762 shoots super flat but I don’t like SIG designs as much as CZ. Those are my reasons.

I don't agree with your take on the Tokarev but I agree otherwise. I don't like the 226 and I like the NP762 even less. Bring in the Chinese Shadow!

I think Tokarevs would shoot a lot flatter if you actually had something to hold onto lol. Horrible little guns yet I want them all.

Ok, what am I missing? NZ85b is a direct cz 75 clone (in 9mm)
The nz85f is a further modified for 7.62x25, so a cz 75 clone but in 7.62x25...
So the nz85f but in 9mm is going right back to nz85b?

The NZ85B is (apparently) a copy of a Tanfoglio copy of a CZ85B :) This NZ85F looks more like a CZ Shadow 2. Different full length frame/dust cover and a rail which the 85B doesn't have. It's the more classic lower frame/dust cover.

Ok, cool, not a difference that I'd personally worry about but to each their own.

So, if the 85F ever makes it here, 9mm conversion barrels are possible (cost would depend on if ordered with the guns or made afterwards here).

Pretty much. I have an NZ85B. Frame is pretty much CZ; CZ grips fit right on. Slide profile is more Tanfoglio. NZ85, because of the slide, does not fit in a CZ holster; it does fit in a level 1 Jericho holster and I believe in Beretta holsters as well.

Great pistol, I will not sell mine. I like it better than my Jericho.

Mag well will be a different dimension to accomodate the longer 7.62 rounds. It would require special mags for 9mm and neither the 9mm ones or the 7.62 ones will be standard. If you get one of these, buy an NZ85 if you want 9mm; cheaper than a conversion kit. Recent shipment is selling for < $400.00, and they take standard CZ mags.

Personally, I don't care for the 85B, I want the F ;) And RK99 wants the F model in 9mm...

If I were importing these I'd order the 9mm barrels from Norinco immediately - would make them cheap enough. 9mm feeds fine from TT33 and NP762 mags, If anything, the recoil pushes all the cartridges to the front. I expect this to be no different.

Given the big turd has announced plans to let virtue signalling municipal officials dictate what property you can own I'd say the value of investing in handgun imports to Canada would be a high risk affair.

Tough days ahead.....run for council, run for mayor or some virtue signalling Karen definitely will
