Norinco NZ85 holster, again

I've searched these and other forums to find a definitive answer regarding a suitable holster for a Norinco NZ85B but without much luck.

My Norinco doesn't fit into a Fobus, not even close so I don't think it's a matter of minor modification.

Without going into a simple generic type holster does anyone have a suggestion for a good quality leather holster that might be made to fit perhaps with just a little stretching.

Does any other clone more closely approximate the Norinco size and that a good maker might have a mold for. No one seems to list patterns for the Norinco itself.

CZ75, fits like a glove.

The Nork slide is slightly wider than the CZ, it won't fit a Serpa either. You should be able to get a leather or nylon holster to work for it, I use a generic nylon with it.

I've got a Fobus for mine......Its for a CZ85/Beretta 92........

I used a Fobus. I took out the rivets and repalced them with small bolts, with washers to make the opening a little wider. Works just fine.

Hadn't thought of drilling out the rivets and adding spacers to the Fobus, might try that.

Contacted a few leather holster makers and none would commit to whether their wet molded CZ holsters would fit the Norinco, can't blame them.

Funny how some people state that their Norinco NZ85B fits an unmodified CZ Fobus holster though I did read somewhere that not all Norinco's are the same and there may be different factories manufacturing them.

That might account for the widely different stories re quality.

Very happy with mine which is recent manufacture.
