Norinco NZ85b, Info / opinions?

I've been looking at the Norinco NZ85b but I haven't found much on it. I'm wondering if anyone has any info or opinions on it?

I have one I haven't shot, fit and finish is great for the price.

CZ grips have different size screws, and don't fit perfect.. but can be made to fit.

I bought one of the latest offerings from Can. Ammo. I bought it on a whim, didn't have high expectations. I have 500~600 rounds through it. Zero FTF or FTE
It's fairly accurate(had a bunch of reloads, haven't tried to find the "load" for the gun) , sights are nice. Grips are cheap hard plastic. I bought aftermarket CZ grips , made a huge difference to me. Triggers not great, I'm waiting for it too smooth out a bit or try a trigger job on it.
Overall it's well worth it, to me seems a bit nicer than some of the 1911 norc's I've seen. I would'nt think twice about buying it again it's an ok piece for the price.

Had one...it's a well built pistol...came with a couple of razor sharp edges I just had to sort...but ate everything, and never failed me...it's a good pistol for the money...my shadow slim grips fitted if I remember correctly..

I have one. Has a trigger job and new grips. Excellent gun.

Way better fit and finish that is comparable to CZ. You will not be disappointed.

You cannot go wrong with the NZ85b.

I competed locally with one (until it was stolen) and always did quite well

I somehow managed to eject my barrel bushing within the first 30 rounds.

Not sure how that happened
