Norinco NZ85B --Thanks Canada Ammo!!!

The level of service and great communication is as good as it gets!
My brand new Norinco NZ85B arrived yesterday, it is nicer and way more well finished than I expected from Norinco! It and both mags have been stripped, cleaned and lubricated. Fit on everything is very tight, and machining marks are shallow and smooth as one would expect from any of the more costly pistols. I have applied a light application of die-makers grease to all sliding surfaces for break-in, and will be taking it out to the range on Monday.

The grips are also a little hard, smooth and thick, but I have a very nice block of rose-wood waiting in my shop for such a project.

No rivets on the mags; cool integral leg on the mag follower instead, leaving the mags smooth.

The only criticism I have is UPS dropped the package on my front porch without a signature, and instead, sent me an email asking me to sign for it via email. It was not there long, but still Canada Post and Can Par would not leave a Toaster without a signature; let alone a firearm; and in this case a restricted one.

Anyway, thanks!

Mark

Mine has just a little over 500 rounds. Slide is super stiff still but it goes bang every time. Gets better the more rounds I put thru it.

Here is mine. Fit and finish is amazing. Got a set of old CZ75 grips, and a little fitting by filing the grips and they seated perfectly. A bit slimmer, a softer transition, and a much better grip surface.

I had an NZ85 and loved it too, until I had a break in and it walked. Now have a real CZ85C and I can say the only major difference is the adjustable sights and better trigger on the CZ, both are accurate and go bang everytime.

I have had a couple of warranty issues; a broken extractor and a broken front sight roll pin; for each all it took was an email, with photos, and a few days later the replacement parts show up in the mail!

Service from Canada Ammo is great! Special thanks to Dan for his great customer service!
