Norinco or SAM 1911a

The mags I've had that came with every Norc 1911 I've purchased have been nonservicable. Are all of them like that?
They always fed well. The problem I had was when I ended up buying those 10 round mags from Marstar.

I have a Norc commander and it is very reliable...much more so than my buddies Kimber. Finish isnt great but it works every time I pull the trigger and feeds great with the cheap Dlask mags.

The Norc's that I've seen alot of praise for seem to always have adaptions or upgrades to them that improves their shooting results and owner satisfaction. But as a straight up comparison, out-of-the-box I would suggest the Norc's aren't as good as alot of other comparisons.
I've read lots of owners who own them, love them and say (truethfully) that for the cost they are great.
I've seen (online and first hand) fit and finish that makes me state my position.

My totally box stock 1911 Sports and Commander (2nd generation) have performed flawlessly for me, when fed Round Nose reloads. Accuracy is good, better than I can shoot. Triggers are a little stiff and creepy but have been improving with use. Finish quality is half-decent of course with good bluing but with all the rough edges in and out. Slide-to Frame-fit, and functional reliability is better or equal to any Colt or Springfield I ever had (at least eight of them over the years). Not really complaining about the sharp edges as those are what callouses are for.

Now, my Roger Kotanko customed Norkie Sport is an altogether different story. Beautiful fit and workmanship, and totally reliable with any well crafted RN or SWC reload. Came with 5 Norkie mags that function flawlessly.
 
Thanks for the replies,I'll post pictures again after i change the trigger and hammer and replace the plastic backstrap\mainsping cover whatever.
 
In the process of installing a TFO sight on my Nork 9mm 1911 & yes she is a tack driver right out the box. Actually a few people were impressed with it @ the range tell I showed them the logo then they all gave me the same facial expresion...

cant speak for the SAM but Nork I bought was garbage. Rough, sharp and downright hostile. Sold it the next week without firing.

Lesson I learned here, wait a bit longer to buy a platform that will reliable/user friendly/fun rather then going by the current budget. lets face it, specially for a 45, ammo is the real cost, not the gun.
 
i have owned 4 norcs in .45 lovd em all, i stripped and dehorned them inside, they ran better than my buddies straight out of the box....he just kept shooting them and cleaning , now they run fine.
my blued ones i dehorned anb reblued, the nickel plated ones arnt quite as rough....lookiat a sam comander or titan now
