Does anyone have this gun? (Norinco P10/NP-30 1911A1 'Double Stack' 45) I am looking for grips for it. I really want the Hogue style grip, rubber with finger grooves. Anyone have any ideas. I contacted Hogue and they said nothing they make will fit. Any help would be great!

someone in the photo gallery had some on the NP30, finger groove ones, they got from Ellwood Epps
Look in the photo gallery, in the 1911 pics

Personally, I think nothing tops the style of the American Legends, just bloody beautiful. How are the grips for shooting? Do you find you have more/less control over the gun?

I just got the Pachmayr Legends and they are nice, real nice. Big thanks to Popurhedoff who assured me they'd fit and answered all my questions. You may want to take a dremel tool to widen the screw holes as they are just a bit tight for the stock screws, and you have to stretch the rubber a bit, but they do fit.

Be advised that you'd best have big hands though, they widen the grip even more than the standard rubber.

PM Willwagspal on CGN, he had two pairs left as of last week. He had a great price and his service was excellent.

Just a heads up on the Double stack .45
Look under Para Ordinance for some things. You know that the Para is an upgrade of the Colt 1911. Norinco has just combined the two.
