Norinco pistols???

The 1911 Norinco is probably one of Gunnar at Armco's favorite guns, he can make the triggers on those things oh so sweet. I've owned a 18, currently waiting on 2 213's and a 34. The 18 had one helluva stiff trigger, but otherwise good overall. Will comment on the others when they arrive.

We need a Norinco Sticky :)

They should call it a "stinky" though so that the Norinco detractors will feel they have had their say...lol... :p

So that would be a "Norstinky" thread? :D

I'm going to order a 213 from Can-Am for tinkering practice. Based on what I see I'm thinking of a CZ clone 75 or 85 as a backup pistol for my Shadow for IPSC so the holster and magazines are all compatible. Mind you I gather the 213's and CZ copies likely come from completely different factories with different standards so I'm not really being fair to the one to compare it to the other.

I've got a NZ85B and love it! It functions flawlessly and great accuracy. For the money you can't go wrong. I have in the past bought more expensive pistols and have been greatly dissappointed.
Health and happiness to all!

I have several. The Sig clone has an excellent trigger, as does my 1911. Great value for the money, but do not compare to the high end guns they copy.

I can vouch for the 1911 (have 3) the $99 spl, the Sig clone and the CZ clone.

A 1911 in 9mm wouild be cheap to buy and operate and have lots of accuracy and room to tune it up, later.

get that 99 $ norinco, y have one its really good for 124 tax and shipping in , thats lot better the a 800$ when you are suffering from tight pockets sindrome:cool:

Great idea, but don't just buy one get two, that way if one breaks you will have parts to fix it. I bought 2 & they are great little autos for the price.

Fit and finish on the newer 1911's has improved substancially since the first Chinese offerings.

I've had a few. They are not as well finished as my 600+ guns. However at the price point the ones I have had are good. Go bang, ok finish, tough. I started with a 9mm Norinco 1911, , later upgraded to nicer stuff. They are a good way to get into shooting. If you get a 1911 you could always just upgrade it.

Get a Nork 1911. If you don't like it, you will have no problems selling it. Chances are you will like it so much that you will want another one.

I'm at about 6,000 rounds through my 1911 Compact (Armco tuned) for the money (for that matter for any money) it's a great, accurate, reliable pistol that gets used hard.

The norc 1911's are the best damn deal going... they are as good as colts... don't believe it, do the 2000 round test and then talk to me.

I think I will start with the $99 jobbie and go from there. You really can't beat that price anywhere. Now I just have to wait for my licence to come back in the mail!
