When I buy a holster do you just order for a sig 226 and colt 1911 ? Will they fit the same and does anyone know if the custom grips on ebay will work for the norinco 1911 ? thanks in advance

Yup, just order the holster for the 'original' gun, they will work fine - if your Norc clone is the 1911 and Sig 226 version. If you have the short slide Sig clone you need a Sig 228 holster. As far as parts for the 1911 go the only part of a Norc 1911 that isn't compatible with any other 1911 is the Grip screw bushing. The grip screws themselves are fine, as are the grips, as long as you don't purchase thin or extra thin grips that require a replacement screw bushing, you're good.

Clone means copy of original. Just pretend you have a name brand 1911, and pretend you have a real SIG, then order accordingly.

People have ordered Kimber 22LR slide/barrel conversion kits that fit right onto the Norinco 1911 frame. I have personally seen a real SIG slide on a Norinco P226 frame, both work perfectly.

This is why many people, myself included, order a Norinco 1911, then over time replace all the Norinco parts with fancy match grade parts so that you have a competition grade pistol in the end.
