Norinco SKS question of value

It's a nice gun and doesn't appear to be a civilian model (anyone?)
The whole NORINCO stamping and wording is a turn off for me, as mine are all arsenal stamped. But I bet it still shoots like a lazer...
 
I bought one of those years ago at the Brandon's Home Hardware on 18th $175. I wouldn't pay a premium for one. 250$... Maybe 300$ if I just came back from tour and had money to blow.

I have the same, without arsenal marking, that I put a receiver side mount and scope which shoots 2-2.5 inch groups at 100 yards. I have Russians, Chinese, and Yugo's and the Norc's shoot as good as any or better.
 
$200 shipped and insured, with warranty and btw. is it chrome lined?

IMO, all these SKS price inflation questions are somewhat out of context.

Also, IMO, the OP's post belongs into some EE, WTS: category. Look at the trader rating. IMO, It is close to soliciting.

All other things being equal, a russian made SKS is to be preferred over a chicom because of a better steel quality

There are many things that change the value of an SKS, they are not all the same and some are harder to come buy then others. This rifle used to sell for around 150 bucks a few years back, but the supply has dried up and the ones coming in now don't compare. I honestly think $300.00 for a nice #'s matching Chinese isn't out of line.

So if I had a bad trader rating it would be ok???
That’s crazy and not looking to sell it, it’s been offered to me on trade and I thought the evaluation was way off. So in your opinion you’d be wrong.

$200,- shipped and insured if it has a chromed barrel and is in very good shape internally which is not shown in any of the pictures. Maybe it's really rusted inside, hard to tell from what is shown!

IMO it is not a "price ask" post as others may suggest. It belongs in the EE with full disclosure.
