Alright, this is going to sound like a really dumb question but are Norinco SKS (model 56) non-restricted??? Marstar sells them which leads me to believe they are. They do not meet the prohib. characteristics described by the govt. but they do fit into their "if it looks evil we can ban it" category. With the amount of people who say they own one on these forums I can't imagine that many people having prohib. firearms licenses.
Here's whats getting me it's (Norinco 56) on the list on the website posted below. Former prohib weapons order no. 13. Former means used to be doesn't it???? I always though it did lol. Anyways...

What am I missing here???? Mp5's are on the same list ....
Now isn't a SKS a 56 carbine .... ??? Has anyone ever had issued registering one because the person on the phone thought it was a 56 and not a 56 carbine???
... things are always so clear with the govt. lol
