$390 for a case of 1120 55gr, FMJ. That's roughly $0.35 per round before tax and shipping. How's the quality compared to say the TulAmmo which is pretty much the same price? I'm guessing dirty? Will it actually be non-corrosive as advertised?

I've shot 1000s of rounds of Norc surplus .223. It's fine. Not super accurate, but not bad. No dirtier than most.

Unlike Tula it's brass, and you can reload. Not the best brass, but okay for 2-3 reloads.

All 5.56 is non corrosive. I find it 100% reliable and decently accurate. About 3moa from a T97 which is as much as I can expect from any surplus. Not really dirty either, does smell a bit different lol.

I have found it to be dirtier than most but the price made it worth it for me ( when it was readily available) The smell on the other hand is something you have to experience first hand. I've shot cases of Norinco and have yet to become used to it. I still don't hesitate to purchase it though.

I never found it dirty. Always seemed seemed to clean up well for me.

Can't say I noticed a smell. I'll pay more attention next time at the range.

Good stuff.

Glad I bought the buy 3 get 1 free deal last year. Brass is good for 2 to 5 reloads, make sure you check them properly if you reload them though.

Average accuracy, average burning/dirty gun after shooting. Wish there was more coming in at cheaper prices

I think it would be cheaper getting Remington PMC. Canada Ammo just extended their sale, I paid $409 shipped after tax per 1000. Out of my 16" Stag 7 to 1 twist with a red dot I was getting 1.5 MOA compared to 3.5 MOA with Norinco ammo. Plus it is cheaner.

a little yellow box #### teaser hahaha, this was delivered on a skid, actually I went and picked up the skid at the local trucking outfit that was going to deliver it since I dont have a forklift at home. These were 1600 round crates, so 22400 rounds. Only 2 crates were mine, the rest were for some buddies but it got us a good deal ;)

I ended up with a lesser quantity of better ammo instead. I found the Norinco at Reliable Gun if anyone was curious. Sadly I missed the sale at CanAm as I was out of town that weekend.

Nope, CanAm is selling PMC for their regular price: $479 per 1000 plus taxes. Yup, it's better ammo overall, but the 11 cents per round adds up when blasting CQB...

I guess the deal just ended, they had a post a couple days ago about extending the sale. I'm glad I added a couple more thousand rounds to my surplus when I did.
