Norinco T97 availability at Canadian Tire?

Has anyone come across some Norinco T97 at a Canadian Tire at some point?

When I was posted in Greenwood NS, there was 2 on display at CT, a flat top and one with carrying handle.

If your local Crappy Tire (that sells guns) has half decent staff, even if they don't carry it they can get one in for you.

North Sylva is the CTC supplier for Norinco, so if they have stock the store can have stock in fairly short order.

I was told by a rep at my local Ct in Victoria BC that they don't carry any "military type" firearms as it doesn't fit their image of hunting and sporting arms. That's Vancouver island for you though. They don't call it the red island for nothing.

I've certainly never seen one at a Crappy Tire in SW Ontario.
(They're black, and you know, scary.)
