in my experience with out-of-province purchases only the federal sales tax (aka: GST) will be charged to a buyer. Currently, the taxation setup for us in BC is harmonized meaning even on out of province purchases we must pay the combined (harmonized) GST and PST. After April 1st we would be exempt from paying the PST as the sale of the item was from a province other than BC thus we would only pay the federal GST.

Looks like people in BC will only be paying GST then. Invoices will be adjusted when they come on.

Snagged with 8 remaining. Had to throw my hat in the ring too. I'm not even sure why I want one but who cares? I didn't want to end up wishing I'd bought one and didn't, like almost happened with the 858 Canadian Edition last spring. I'm guessing the lack of the select fire might be the "slight cosmetic differences." Here's to hoping they get through just in time for the whistle pig season. Someone previously made a good point about tax return timing. I won't even have to save to pay for it. Sweet.
