I just posted a presale waiting list as I'm sure there will be some cancelations by the time they arrive. It says PRESALE Waiting list.

Ryan

Ryan, can you address some of the questions regarding whether or not the FRT process has been completed on these? Are they in the process of FRT classification, or has the FRT been issued and orders place with Norinco and now a presale?

They have an approved FRT number and are classified as non-restricted. Wanstalls corrected their pic on post 36 of their thread. They are the same as Ryan's so Ryan's have an approved FRT number and are classified as non-restricted as well.

Haha. Well I was told someone sells the rail that goes on top of the carry handle for the T97s. I have a rail that fits on an AR carry handle so I am wondering if that would work.

Just a question here. Sorry I don't mean to hijak this thread.
I know the last time these uns were available some purchased them and then they got a nice knock on the door and were ordered to hand them over.
What makes them different now? Were they missing proper paperwork or FRT numbers the first go around of have they changedthe make up of the rifle to acheive legal status here? Will the individuals whose 97's were taken before be given back (assuming they weren't melted down)?
I hope I don't start any infighting, I'm just curious.

Previous ones were easily converted to full auto as the internals were still there but modified for semi. These ones that SFRC has are built as semi-autos.

Just an added note (again, I think its been said already) on the "confiscation" question. These are NON restricted and there is no long gun registry. So, even if the government DOES decide in the future that this version of the T97 isnt allowed they wont know who has them already. Therefore, they cant really COME to your house and get them. Worst case is that they would ask everyone bring it in... but really, who would do that. So id say this version is pretty safe in its owners hands.

Hahah Im the first to order one last night now they have only juste 18 in stock llo
Sale like a hot cake (-:

Actually they sold out the first pre order batch, put another batch up, sold that and now those 18 are what's left of 50 that are only available if any of the pre orders from first two batches change their minds. :)

I want to buy order one, but does anyone know if the importer has done their homework so we will not be in the same sh as last time with CANAM?
