The gun was already NR back then. I honestly don't see this as any kind of innovation, but in fact simply due process.

It's definitely a step forward!
There were big problems and they were overcome with some hard work to get it right and comply with RCMP standards. Instead of giving up they solved it

Confirmed my order today. Can't wait to get it out to the range.

Thinking I should get a postcard made from picture of me and the rifle, with a big "Thanks!" splashed across the corner, and mail it to the RCMP.

You know, for all the hard work they did helping bring these rifles to law abiding firearms owners in Canada.

Got my call, spoke to the nice lady, did my best to muffle my 'happy dance' sounds. You just can't easily muffle the 'happy dance' sounds.

JEBUS! How big is the average order? 500 guns? even if cost was just $500 a gun (which i doubt, just for simplicity sake) thats a $250,000 order of canadian black rifles!!

Got the call! Whoo-hoo! For the scope rail, will a standard AR carry handle scope rail fit in the T97, or is it an entirely different animal?

Its entirely different. I have to think you could make something work with a dremel... but there IS another option out there thats a direct fit and only $50
