What can a guy expect for accuracy in a Tok? I'm curious about both 9mm and 7.62X25 - or is their even a difference?

I found that the barrel to slide and bushing fits with the 9mm barrel in an M54 were actually pretty tight. One of the M54's that I fired was actually a 2" shooter at 15m from a steady rest with the 9mm barrel installed. Offhand I would say the groups opened up to about tea saucer size. It should be noted that the 9mm barrel used in that gun could not be used in any other M54 present without a failure to eject, and the same pistol with the 7.62x25 barrel installed was minute-of-dinnerplate at 25m.

Most of the M54's I have shot, either as 9mm or 7.62x25 are salad bowl sized accuraccy group at 15-20m.

Sorry for all my food dish analogies, I haven't eaten yet tonight.

I don't care how accurate or inaccurate they are. My 7.62 is loud, perky and will shoot one inch at ten yards. Many people have shot my pistol with good results. The ammunition is cheap and it is gratifying to have such a cheap pistol and a #### load of ammunition in a green box to shoot out of it.

I like my Norinco Tokarev and will not sell it ever.

Pretty much what they were used for. Not too many used in PPC.
