I'm finally getting used to the trigger,
You are a better man than I.
I'm finally getting used to the trigger,
stamping is cheap....relative to forging. Stamping is expensive compared to casting or MIM, or plastic injection moulding. 60 years ago what was considered "cheap" is a lot different than what is now considered cheap. The remakes of those old firearms are very precise, if they weren't they'd be too close (fire control interchange is not desireable) and precision costs money. Like my mechanic says, ' Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?' How close a repro do you want, without stepping over the line?
and. these are +60 year old technology...
I guess the Tokarev must be stamped. How did this thread get to this?
I dunno. But if it makes you feel any better, I ate a Big Mac like 5 minutes ago. It definitely WASN'T machine stamped.
