Norinco Tune-up "packages" at ARMCO :)

Gunnar owns your gun, he believes he is doing you a favour and does not understand the business relationship between a customer and a business.

Whenever you question this man 'Gunnar" on why he cannot finnish work when HE has promised he is offended and instantly YOU are an a**hole.

Next he will say you have attacked his wife and his dog......

I just bought a revolver from him and his service was top notch. I have not had him do any gunsmithing for me, but I would vouch for him with regards to purchases.

Like I've said before I've had 1911 work done by him before plus I have purchased guns off him, too. A recent used 9mm pistol purchased less than I month ago. I had no problem reaching him via PM [here], regular e-mail and via phone either on any attempt to contact him - then or recently. I was happy with my most recent purchase, registered to be before I sent the EMT for payment, shipped & arrived promptly once the transfer went thru the CPFO, well packed & was exactly as described. Gunnar even included a couple of extra items that we were going to further negotiate on, whether I could use them or not, and in the end he told me to keep them. So, for me, that was an "above & beyond" deal. Sorry to hear others are reporting otherwise, but that has just not been my experience with Armco/Gunnar. Everything for me has been top-notch.

LOL , Yes NAA we know Gunnar is your best buddy :bigHug:

Gunnar obviously has call display and can pick and chose to repond to PM`s and email, dont you think?

Next time you go up to NSRG, I`ll bring my Armco special and you can see the qUALITY Armco workmanship I got. :D

I have tried 4-5 times a day with the exception of Tuesday and Thursday to get him on the phone letting it ring until the phone company disconnects, no dice. I have tried email, nothing. I sent a fax on Monday with all of my contact info nothing as of yesterday (I am on leave now but will go in tomorrow to check the fax).

I knew that I would take heat posting this here but what else should I do, wait until month 11? I've seen posters that had problems with Marstar and Lawson's, but I had no problems with them. Does that mean that they have never had any problems at all?

Like I've said more than a few times now, all I want is my gun back, work completed or not with the appropriate amount of money back.

Seems pretty simple to me.

Lets Take a Deep Breath and...

Hello Recce.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing the difficulties you speak of. I would agree with NAA that this thread is quite old and that the turn around time at Armco has changed. Gunnar also travels a bit at times and might not get to his emails as quickly as usual.

However, I don't think the answer is to allow _ZZ to yank your chain and lead you to conclusions that may not be correct.

It sounds like _ZZ has an issue of his own with Gunnar that he hasn't quite worked out. I think the tone of his posts shows that clearly enough.

I would continue to try to make contact with Gunnar and clear the air yourselves. This way feelings and reputations don't get dented.

Drop a registered letter in the mail outlining your concerns and I'm sure you will hear from him.

Cheers.

Gunnar contacted me via email today and said it was done and going out today
so as far as I am concerned the issue is resolved.
