norinco type 56 or 87s.... question

Type 56 as in the chinese sks is nonresctricted, type 56 as in the chinese ak47 and RPD are full auto and or prohibited by name. The type 87 is a type 81( wich is currently under review by the rcmp, fingers crossed )chambered in 5.8x42 so we will never see them.

both are prohibited. Closest to an actual ak47 rifle you can get is the Valmet Hunter models. Closest looking to an AK-style rifle without breaking the bank would be a VZ-58 or Type 81 if it passes the RCMP

OP is referring to the Norinco 84S (note: no "Type" designation) which is a commercial Norinco AK in .223 cal. As others have stated both are prohibited by OIC.
