Norinco USA?

Man, if I was going to start manufacturing M14's and Ak47s in the states, I would seriously consider other names before marketing them under the name Norinco. As much as I like my M14 from Norinco, its not exactly a brand carrying the highest reputation, kind of the Lada or Hyundai of the gun world.

I think you are mistaken about the rep of the Norc M-14s in the US......The early imports had a bad name but Other than the "If its made in the US it's better" crowd the later versions that were imported prior to the ban are highly regarded

China has stated it's intent to market stuff under their own brand names, rather than hiding the made in China image.

This guy owns the domain name. It expires on 10 June 08. Doesn't seem to have much confidence in getting any parts or firearms made. Of course, they won't be Norinco's anyway.
