Anyone have experience with the Norinco YW 12 Tactical shotgun lineup that Frontier is currently selling? How do they compare to the HP9's? Any good/bad points? Seriously thinking about picking up the one with the 6 Position M4 Style Stock. Any information on these would be greatly appreciated.

I own a original 14" HP9 and totally love it.

This one looks like a HP9 with the American length 5 round mag tube. Means that 870 barrels are not interchangeable but it's got Ghost rings.

I think 870 stocks and forends will work so as long as you don't need to change the barrel it's probably a good deal. I'd get the pistol grip one that's cheaper and replace the grip with a good stock like a Knoxx or a Mesa M4 adaptor. That adjustable one in the Pic just looks like a crappy ATI.

I never under stand the need for a "Tactical" shotgun? Yeah they look cool, but what separates a "Tactical" shotgun for a regular shotgun?

I would think "regular" shotguns tend to have longer barrels and for the most part more traditional stocks. I'm looking for a good dependable shotgun with a shorter barrel and a pistol-grip "tactical" stock because I MUCH prefer the handling of a pistol grip to that of traditional stocks.

Anyone know of some other pistol-grip shouldered stocks available to use here in Canada, whether it be adjustable or not? And if so where can you pick them up?

I think the stock Knox recoil reducing stocks at The Shooting Edge in Edmenton they are on thetop bar as one of the gunnutz supporting dealers. They are pretty reasonably priced at about 100$ I believe.
