I'm just wondering if anyone has compared the Norinco version against the Russian one. I've got a Nork and love to shoot it, but have had a few issues with it. Are the Russian versions more reliable and or of better quality? I've had other Nork products and never had any problems, but know that my Yugoslav SKS is far more accurate than my Nork "M" model. And are the parts interchangeable? Specifically Barrels.
Any educated opinions would be appreciated as am thinking of getting a Russian one instead but have spare Nork barrels and mags.
Thanks

Lever arms has cases of corrosive 762x25 (2280rds) around $300 i think. Frontier has the Russian t33's for $220, Canada ammo has the 9mm version for $99. But once you shoot 762x25 you won't want the 9.

Is Lever still selling the surplus 7.62x25 or was it pulled for sale along with the tracer ammo. It's not listed on their site anymore.

Today I shot my new Tokarev 7.62x25. It is a 1945 Russian refurb.

It is not as violent in the hand as my 9mm Browning, but is supposed to be similar in power. Accuracy at 10 yards was superb. See results. 2 handed hold, unsupported.

At 20 yards it shot to point of aim OK, but group was much bigger. I think this has to do with range lighting. At 20 yards I had trouble seeing black front sight on a black target. I will paint front sight with some White-Out next time.

I have had the Russian ones and I have the Norc also. The Norc is great and the russian ones ,one was great and the other one ,you couldn't hit a bull in the arse with a hand full of rice.I like the russian a little more.

Fixed my nork

I originally posted this because I was having trouble with the trigger group on my nork. I lost a pin and tried to replace it with a roll pin but It didn't work well at all and was was worried I wouldn't be able to shoot up all the ammo I've got. So I took the money I was going to spend on a Russian and bought one of the new nork police 45's from Canada Ammo for $340 as like the SKS's you can never have too many 45's.

Just recieved my Tok from Frontier (219.00),a case of ammo from Lever(300.00),and a case of Molson for after the shoot! The Tok is in excellent shape! very pleased with the whole package,gun,holster,2 clips, cleaning rod, lanyard all for 219.00!! it may not shoot the most accurate, but at least I can go to the range shoot off 300 rounds and not even feel it in my wallet!
