norinoco 223 brass ,few qusetions

It seems OK as far as I can tell. I have used it to make 55 grain FMJ loads for my AR and they shoot about the same as with any other make of brass. Primers are not crimped.

I couldn't say what sort of case life can be expected, though.

I have bunch that I've been using, I usually toss them on the third time , just because I start finding more split cases. I have found no crimped ones yet. And I used to go without the crimp but had a couple of setbacks so now I just set my Seating die with a slight taper crimp and had no more issues.

roger that make sure to check that out
silly question, are you crimping you 223 for the ar15?

I am crimping. I can't say that it is 100% required however. There is 0.004" neck tension on the seated bullets, so unlikely it is going anywhere.

Guess it really depends on how well your mags run in your particular AR. I think under rapid fire it wouldn't take much to force a bullet back into the case in the event of a jam up.

I have had zero issues with the Norc brass. 2-3 reloads in; many hundreds of cases

YMMV

I have had satisfactory results not crimping .223 for my AR as well as .308 for my M14.

no abnormal problems.

at 3 reloads now, plus the factory load, so been fired 4 times. I have found a few split cases, but only a few. No more than Federal or AE or other bulk ammo cases.

I do a light crimp with the Lee factory crimp die. Yes its another step, but with a semi auto that you might rapid fire, its definitely a good idea.
