Hello fellas
Wondering if any of you nutters is familiar with a 30-06 brass head stamped Browning and made by Norma.
And if you do what are your thoughts on them.

Here's the thing, I have Norma stamped brass , Nosler stamped brass made by Norma and both of them look totally different than the Browning stamped one, ence my question , and my question was directed to the people that actually had any experience with said brass not to the ones that keep wondering:p

Do you think that Norma would want to pizz-off a large vendor like Browning by giving them inferior or defective brass??? I would expect the quality to be typical Norma.

It is simple. Browning has their specifications to me manufactured and it is not identical to standard norma or nosler which will have their spec
Quite common in the manufacturing of components by sub contractors
Cheers

How do you know your nosler brass is norma made?

Nosler answered a question about their brass on their own forum. They replied that they get brass from multiple sources.

Yes and that is the way it works
They have their own spec which they send out for tender
They review the tenders and produce an approved list of suppliers of which most times the total order is split to keep everyone honest and interested for future requirements
So today it could be one manufacturer and next week another but in the end we the customer should not be able to tell the brass apart from a metallurgical or dimensional comparisons . If we do there is either quality issues or a spec revision was implemented
Cheers

If you feel like digging further, cut the head off one and you will see the flash holes are drilled. Only a couple of high end manufacturers do that, one being Norma.
Keep in mind this is NOS brass, not equivalent to the new Browning ammo offering (crap) you see on shelves today. I think I bought my fist 100 pieces from them 20 years ago, and they probably had it for 30-40 years prior to that. The Metalverken they have us from the 60's-70's as well. Some may be a but tarnished bit clean up easy.
It's very good brass.

***and for Norma making Nosler brass, very few are made there, the Weatherby's are and a few other belted mags, standard common cartridges are definitely not and source probably varies from year to year.

I'd even buy 1f Norma over new brass...still have a stash of 1f 308 from back in the day, bunch of 1f 6.5x55 from Tradex, and a horde of the Browning 30'06 which I also use for 270win.
