Norma projectiles in Canada

I find it odd nobody is importing the components - if someone carried the bondstrike, and oryx lines they would sell piles of both. Especially so in the current day of $2 noslers.

I don't agree with you on that one.

Norma Ammo is EXPENSIVE. One or two boxes for each rifle sold wouldn't be worth it to any importer, and we know that most folks would opt for cheaper offerings.

X-reload used to have a good selection of Norma brass and bullets but they are mostly sold out. Pricing isn't actually too bad for a premium product.

Hmm, I wonder why Norma ammo is pretty much sold out at all places which offer the Norma ammo line ?

In addition of being the only commercial manufacturer for 9.3x57, there are Norma chamberings which are proprietory like the Norma .308 Magnum, the Norma .358 Magnum,...

Maybe the dealers selling these guns should have at least the courtesy to bring some of this ammo in because it will sell ! But they don't seem to care about their customers.

Reliable Gun in Vancouver has a good selection of Norma Ammunition at what I would say very reasonable prices.

Much lower than I expected.

Sorry, no 9.3x57

If you handload, it's easy to neck up 8x57 cases.

Quick online search shows:

Norma 9,3 X 57 - Kelvin's Taxidermy & Gun Shop

That's a good price for 9.3x57 if you live in Nova Scotia as they don't have online sales on their website.

Maybe some of your touted banner sponsors could bring some in at that price it will sell like hot cakes !

Why don't you call them instead of bashing them?

They're located in Vancouver, the same province as you from your post and they both ship.

Italian Sports also has a good selection of Norma ammunition, but alas no 9.3x57

Both in BC and both ship.

The two boxes each that you and your bud would purchase would hardly make it worth their while unless you each ordered a case.

Lots of posts and threads about fraud from dealing with x reload, Sportage is also in Quebec. Most of the fraud, particularly on high value optics comes from Quebec. Why would one send a emt or give out credit card info for a Quebec based business?

Just an observation, a prominent poster hates me for calling out the leupold distributor, Korth group for horrible customer service. So I'd Don a flame suit, but really not going to bother.

Just going to post this as a reflection of a email conversation I had with the new owner of matrix bullets after Marshall sold out. He was concentrating on popular bores, and target bullets. Comment was hunters buy one box of 100, target shooters buy thousands at a time. Can't say I disagree, having just bought the business, he wanted volume to recoup his investment.

The .366/9.3 is such a niche. If you run into components, just buy it, whether it's your favorite brand of bullet or brass doesn't matter. Norma ammo is equivalent to Weatherby in price. Bet it's $160/20 or more now.

There's no ammo for a 9.3x57 available at all for anybody, lol. You blaming me now for writing it down for you ?

^^ How come X-Reload has more than 15 SKUs listed in stock if bowmac can only supply 5 SKUs ?

Something doesn't add up here. Maybe we just cannot have those euro engineered nice compoments in Canada and pay a premium for inferior NA stuff.

Both rusty wood and budget import from grafs.com, who carry most Norma products and should be able to get anything Norma for you

Thank you ! I've dealt with both in the past. Will give them a call...
