Norma whitetail

I just bought a tikka t3x 7mm rem mag form basspro and they recommended using Norma whitetail 150 grain for the tikkas. Does anyone here use them and have good luck with grouping?
 
I use the norma whitetail in 7mm08 in a kimber, seems to group right around 1.5" @ 200 for me, honestly I just purchased it for the good quality brass to reload since brass is so expensive now. Since it shoots well tho I'll use it for deer hunting for now untill I'm all out then reload it

Im definitely saving brass and one day id like to learn to reload
 
I like norma stuff over most brands but I reload and like Norma brass. My .338 groups the 230gr oryx very well. My 6.5x55 likes it aswell, but m1008 is right , the guy behind the gun counter isn’t always right. I’d suggest buy. Box of the norma, box of maybe federal and a box of premium and see what groups. Sometimes the cheap a$$ ammo groups better than premium. Never know.
 
I have found this to be very accurate and consistent in my Blaser in 7 mag very accurate however the speed is not very desirable otherwise I would just use it

I picked up a Sako Finn Bear Deluxe in 7mm Mag. It was a package deal and my intention was to flip the rifle. Unlike the dreaded "Got it on trade, looks like low round count" I like to let people know what they are getting and actually shoot the rifle.

Prices on factory ammo seemed quite high except for the Norma White 150s that were right around $50 IIRC.

I bore sighted and shot 2 at 25 yards that looked good enough. Went out to 100 yards and fired 3 3 shot groups all under an inch.

Long story short, this rifle is now not for sale and will not be anytime soon.

I have since tried the Norma Whitetail in a couple of other rifles and each performed more than well enough for hunting. The brass is clean and the plastic cartridge holders are very handy. I haven't killed anything with it but wouldn't hesitate to use it hunting.
 
Norma Whitetail and Federal Fusion are the first two boxes I shoot in every new gun. I haven't found a rifle yet that won't shoot either moa or better. My Tikka 308 stainless varmint shoots it consistently .6" at 100 yds.
