Normal barrel outside barrel wear - unfired glock

So, these are pictures from my factory fired glock, I noticed these very slight markings on the outside of the barrel and I'm just wondering if its normal.

I'm not too concerned as I plan on shooting the s**t out of this gun and the markings are very minor, but if there is a way to cover them up or if they are normal, let me know.

The marking is hard to picture, but its clearest in the last pic (about 3/8" from the end of the barrel, a slight marking perpendicular to the length of the barrel)

These markings are more noticable in real life and cannot be polished out, is it just from racking the slide?

Cheers

It's perfectly normal, this is "wear" due to racking the slide ether from dry fire or firing a few rounds...
You will have more of this "waves" on your barrel as soon as you get to the range..
Nothing wrong with your Glock, enjoy it

Does anyone touch them up with those pens? I have seen them in the store but never used one. I guess I kinda figured it would make it look even worse than the smiley.

Not so concerned about that but even more puzzling is after > 30,000 rounds thru that G22 I have still yet to have one fail to feed, fire, extract or eject.

I have heard about a guy who put 200K through his glock, you probably have to, but looks like yours still has lots of life left. :ar15:
