Anyone have Normandy reloading manual??
Can anyone tell me load data, oal and etc for 180gr SST in 308 win using varget.

Hornady's 9th edition has the 308win with 180gr pills & Varget @ 32.0gr's start to 43.2gr's max.
with col @ 2.810"

But what confuses me is the huge difference between manuals. My Lee shows 41gr to start and Lyman's shows 38 if I remember right.

Yes & Hodgdon list the 308 win with the 180gr & Varget @ 41 start & 45max.
Nosler list it at 39.5 start with a max of 43.5

Different test barrels produce different pressure's, I will be the first to agree that some of our reloading manuals can be a little modest with loads. I would recommend starting at a min load & working up slowly , your rifle will tell you what it like's. Perform a ladder test , with some good sand bag's , then play with your seating depth to tweak your load.
