Norm must be awfully old to have collected those guns before it would have cost about $100,000.00 to do so... ;)

Maybe Norm is the last survivor of the elite Wehrmacht unit sent to set up Hitler's final redoubt in the wilds of central Alberta? And he kept all the gear.

I knew it! Here's how I think it went down:

-Cargo U-boat through the Northwest Passage.
-Up the Mackenzie into Great Slave Lake.
-Up the Slave River disguised as a paddle wheeler, through the lakes and rivers to Waterways near Fort Mac.
-Overland via halftrack, cunningly disguised as Hudson's Bay Co. employees, complete with Bay blanket jackets and fur hats.
-Bunker dug in strangely tarry sand. Acts as excellent natural preservative to keep arms cache ready for the 4th Reich.

The recent expansion of the heavy oil industry explains the "re-appearance" of this arms cache. "Norm", or should I say Major-Leutnant Norman Skorzeny (Otto's brother), has had to dig up the cache, lest it be discovered.

I'm considering the possibility that there was an Imperial Japanese component to the team, given the recent pics of Japanese rifles Klunk "found via the EE".
