I've been a life member with the NAH magazine for 12 years or so. I've enjoyed their articles, and have even had a chance to field test some different pieces of equipment. About a year ago they restructured into "scout" magazine and went from 8 magazines a year down to 4 (albeit bigger magazines).

But I haven't received one in about 8 months now... Anyone else I the same boat? When was your last issue?

I sent a question through their online form but have yet to hear back.

well, here it is from the horses ass. Mouth! Sorry, I meant mouth.

Well... The thing is, I joined this club for the magazine subscription. My original lifetime membership benefits included 8 magazines per year.

When NAH became scout, I was promised 4 magazines per year. I heard a lot of naysayers at the time, but I defended scout and told them how great the extra large new magazines were. But now we're down to ZERO magazines per year...

I don't have Internet service at home, so getting "a LOT more content" on a 15 minute lunch break at work seems unlikely. And, with all due respect, I joined the North American HUNTING club, not the mlb/nfl/gardening/cooking club.

I used to love this magazine. I've got a stack at home full of post it notes and references to all the best stories and resources. I miss stories from Miller and Shockey and others.

If there's no magazine, I'm afraid there's nothing else for me.

What steps do I take to get a partial refund of my life membership?

Hi folks. I'm a life member from Ontario Canada. I haven't received a new magazine in about 8 months. I recognize you cut the number of mags/year in half when switching to scout, but I still expected to have a new magazine come in every three months or so. Any help would be appreciated.

F****** criminals.

So what's another good hunting mag?

My father and I were both life members, have quite a few trinkets from them, however this latest move was at the very least criminal.

I subscribe to Wolfe publishing. Three magazines for the cost of one. The rifleman, Handloader and the hunting one.

That's a good deal, but they only offer that deal online now. I'm a paper guy. How is the "successful Hunter" magazine?

It's not the best, but I enjoy it more than the rifleman which is not about AR platforms and handguns lately. Handloader is the main reason I subscribe. I moved a while back and haven't updated my address with them, it's only online now? There goes that one too I guess....

Oh I should clarify: All three mags are still available in paper, but the 3 for 1 deal is only for the e-copies of those mags.

I too am a long standing life member. I can't remember when I received the last issue of Scout either. It's not what I signed on for!!!

It is just a sign of the times as the print media is dying off rapidly....production and postage costs makes it difficult to put out a cost effective magazine....
