Oh boy, been a long time since this came around, goodie goodie.
Poppy, unless you like LOTS of stickers, key and coat fobs and big sweat on badges from the 80's than I'd suggest you pass.

I have been turning the bronze medallions they sent me on a lathe to make replacement sight blades for my rifles. Money well wasted.
 
I've said it before...they're the Nigerian scammers of the hunting world...except that they threaten you with a collection agency when you try to tell them to pound sand.

I'm finally rid of the pricks.

I guess I'm one of the lucky one's.I've been sent 4 things to test in the last 2 years.Berkly Gulp,deer drag,rifle sling,and a Mitchel reel.

I used my U.S. address for my membership.Maybe thats what made the difference.The mag is not the best out there,but it's not the worst either.
 
there's a FISHING CLUB as well- all i've ever gotten is a patch and a bunch of addy labels
 
I've never joined...but they keep sending me stickers etc.

Actually sent me some really nice return mail address stickers!

I keep the free #### they send me, but never reply...
 
Well I can see that I'm an outcast in the topic. I am a member but not a life member. I do enjoy the magazine, but yes they are a money grab for sure. All I ever get from them is packages in the mail, it never ends. Some books I buy but for the most part I just send it all back. The main reason I join is for the magazine.
