Anyone here a member? is it worth the cost to join?

I'm a member but won't be renewing. I haven't got anything worth while for testing, a good example is 2 bug repelent wet naps, big deal. As well they like to continuously send crap trying to get you to buy this set of books, or this back pack or fanny pack, which by the way are all hugely over priced......but hey its got the NAHC logo on it, is that fanatasic  Maybe I'm just getting bitter in my old age. I think supporting a home grown group, like a local fish and game association is by far the better choice

I've been a member for a few months now and they sent me some crap which I politely returned...
It's also very american.

They're mag is OK but what do you expect... it's not even 20$ for a year's subscription.

Think of it this way... Shooting at a 20 dollar bill at 100 yards would be kinda fun...and is a waste of 20 bucks.
Receiving a hunting mag every 1 or 2 months for a 20$ bill is fun too... and is a waste of 20 bucks too. (in this case)

Hmm... now this has got me thinkin... now unless you poke a hole through the serial number on the 20$ bill... you could do both!! I know what I'll be doing when the time comes to renew!!!

Ok I'm tired, i better go to bed.

I to was a member. A joke! Sent me books I didn't want and then I was responsible to pay to ship them back. I never got to test any products myself. I would never join again.

Dave.

They Suck period! Was a member..gotta crappy little tool for my efforts. Found the magazine to be too american. Just didnt appeal to me...not the way I hunt nor is it the way I want to hunt.

Was a member, it sucked, all I got in the mail was renewal requests. They started sending me these hardcover books for hunting specific species. Beautiful pictures but there's no way I could set up food plots or half of the other things they mentioned. The books only covered whitetails and elk, I called to see if I could trade or wait for a moose or caribou book, something interesting that you wouldn't find in any given hunting mag. They said there weren't any, so I told them to keep their books. And the lovely bronze medalions they sent with the books, well they are going to get carved into blade sights for a couple vintage rifles.

The funniest thing was an iron on badge they sent me, it would cover half your back and was so ugly I couldn't believe it, designed by a kindergardener I guess.

As everyone else said, save your money!

Forgot to mention I applied for months to try products. They finally sent me some little tiny wipes soaked in a nice light oil for wiping down your gun. So much for trying out a cool knife or something of value like they make you think.

i told them i would join only after they sent me one of the top end rifle to test first  as you gess i didnt join
