Just my personally opinion, but I think it would be better if the area highlighted were blended more into the rest of the part. Don't much care for the abrupt, flat face. Minor nitpick, but just throwing that out there.

We tried doing what you suggested, it made the part look like a giant hunk of aluminum. The part did not flow.

Have you considered making one without the lower divot, ie: just the buffer tube threads?

You could use a set screw or an 1/8th inch roll pin to lock the stock from rolling. (just throwin ideas around )

We did, just didnt think there would be enough interest. Chances are the folder will be just the cup.

The lock nut works fine on shotguns and such, don't need to change anything.

I found it a little easier to keep it from rotating initially, however it was just a matter of my OCD really, and making sure it didn't rotate around.
