Guys. Stop defending this dealer! ns is the worst in the industry so far. I bought from them only once and the warranty process was :$;@. They sold millions of dollars worth of garbage here and this is not the first time george has dropped the ball. I m sure this is not the last time either.

You're of the opinion that the actions taken by NS in this thread, and by your own insinuation, any and all dealings, are completely indefensible?

Good product doesn't need warranty, ####ty product does require one. As long as you sell ####ty product, you deserve posts like this. That's how open economy supposed to work. Communicate quickly, fast and efficiently. Fix issue. Keep everybody happy. Enjoy reputation.

If you fail to communicate properly and fix the issue. You fail. Even if the customer is ... let's say not smart at all. At the end, it is your problem. Personally, it is a minus to N.Silva in my book (even if the author deserved to be tasered).

They're bringing in all kinds of treats for us! They don't manufacture them and of course theres the odd lemon in any batch of guns. I think NS has done a great job and here we have another 1%er complaining.

I don't see why, in this instance, they don't deserve some defence. The OP's thread seems like BS..... But who knows, maybe there's yet another side???

I don't get it, some act like they are paid by ns for customer retention.
the other day, another folk here shared a ns internal memo which detailed how ns intentionally prolonged "warranty work" so that this buyer had to wait months to receive the defective product. and ns referred to it as "karma is !#$%"

I guess I missed that part... How did the ball get dropped by NS staff exactly?

I agree. But to be fair, NS was not in the wrong but the OP has made false accusations or completely misunderstood the issue with purolator and used that as the spark to begin sharpening his axe with. There was no issue here until op made one.

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about, and until 2 hours ago that episode made me see red whenever NS was mentioned.

If that was a rogue/retard staffer at NS that has been relieved of duty, I sure wish NS would've let us know that. Instead, the thread just disappeared, leaving us to think NS runs like Putin's Russia....

I now feel differently.

In all seriousness, and I don't mean to play "that card", but the OP's 0-60 reaction and "haha you can't trick me" attitude remind me of experiences we had with an old friend who slowly slipped into schizophrenia. At first we were just like wtf man, but the irrational arguments kept piling up, making things weird, until we drifted apart. Then heard from his family a while later that he'd been diagnosed. A few years later the same thing happened with a coworker. I gingerly mentioned it to her dad when I saw him next, and they'd been noticing it too. She quit shortly afterwards and I never heard from her again. Ran into her dad years later and learned that she'd also been diagnosed, and sadly commit suicide some time afterwards. Anyway, I don't know the OP from Adam, I don't know his history or background, and I certainly don't know him enough to make the slightest judgment on his health... But I know if I had a buddy making such irrational comments, my spidey senses would be tingling...

Maybe because some of us had many positive experiences with them and were satisfied with the service...

That was me.

NS were in the wrong then and did produce a note out of mutual frustration.

The saga with the pps-50 was not pleasant to be sure, but (to be clear) in the end NS offered a full refund. The cheque, i am told, is in the mail. Their delivery guidelines were pretty clear. Admittedly Loomis express did tell me they wouldn't pick up firearms from a residential address, but they got the firearm in the end.

Rude notes are at the end of the day human mistakes, nobody has malicious intent. I agree it shouldn't happen but people have bad days, it happens. NS moved on from that incident and my last dealing with them was quick, had good communication and was pain free. Pietta has lost my confidence, but NS has been nothing but professional this last time. Even businesses are capable of learning, whether they have out not remains to be seen but such has been my experience.

Earlier in the thread I stated OP should have accepted the refund. I stand by that. Sure, a working product would be preferable but NS are distributors and warranty, not manufacturer. It is acceptable to either repair the product in a reasonable amount of time or offer replacement/refund. That's what they seem to have done in this case. There may be another side, sure, however OP wanted to effect repair himself and that is an understandable no-no.

I've had issues with them, but fair is fair.

I recently sent mine of for repairs and mine came back working perfect and seems to have been worked on very well, I wasn't impressed with having to pay shipping their but I was taken care of after that.

I hear allot of bad comments but my experience was positive and I have no reason to lie about it. My VZ works BETTER then new out of the box and i'm impressed. George did a great job.

It would interesting to see the emails that occured prior to what north silva posted, as its obvious it wasnt all there, and the alleged fake post code would have been provided earlier on in thats chain.

It looks like the OP has disappeared. Also I'd like to point out to a lot of people posting here that North Sylva is NOT a dealer. They are strictly a distributor of some pretty good products as well as some pretty BAD products. Also did you notice the title of the OP's post "north sylvia". Sylvia....hmmm

I'm guilty of dealing with a lot of sponsors on here and never leaving good reviews, even though every experience has been good. North Sylva is no different.
I was plagued with issues with my mk22. Tried every fix I could find on the internet with no luck. I contacted George wedge from north sylva about a parts kit I had seen mentioned on another thread. Thinking my firearm was well out of warranty, maybe I could fix it with the parts kit.
George was great. He told me they would repair it for free, even though it was 3 years old and I had tried to fix it myself. I dropped it off and they shipped it back to me at no charge. Gun works great now.

Thanks for the great job!

How are theses guys still in business? I have never had dealings with them myself but the sheer number of complaints about them on this forum is unbelievable. I am surprised a business with so much negative press continues to allow their name to go to #### without making any positive changes.
If u have ever bought a gun or Ammo from a Canadian retailer there is a 90 percent chance North Sylva supplied that retailer. So you have likely had indirect business with them. They supply like 70 percent... I am guessing ... of the firearms retailers in Canada... I may be wrong with the percentage though...
