Norther Ontario M14 Support Group Anyone

I would be down for doing a clinic in the SOO. At least I could drive up on Fri evening, got relatives in the SOO and a camp in Batchawana Bay! :D

As TRGod36 discovered, most of the challenge is booking the facility/site/gun club/range for getting all the CGNutters together.

One advantage you Bantario CGNutters have is that I'M HERE, stuck in Bantario with YOU! :nest:
 
yeah, i would do either sudbury or ssm......its about the same distance from manitoulin. the question is this: Do we have anyone in the sault who can get us space at a range in case a few of us want to shoot?

then again.....its all up to Guru Hungry.....

A CAMP in Batch.? You must really tough it in the great outdoors, with the bar down the road, power, and running water. The sound of transports passing by makes me one with nature :D.


If your familiar with the area Im sure you've been to Perrys Gun Shop. They have a classroom area set up that would be IDEAL for this stuff. Im not sure on range use though. I'll stop in there tomorrow and see what they got.
 
I too am interested. I live in Petawawa, but I have family in the Soo, North Bay, and Chelmsford.

All depends on the work schedule for me.

so now we have a split between sudzbury and the sault, if we are split on the decisiong then lets meet half way........MANITOULIN!!! muhwaaahaaahaaa. we have tons of ranges...they are called gravel pits...hahahahahahahahaha.......but seriously.....i know that hungry is spreading himself pretty thin covering numerous provinces.....so we should decide on where to have the next clinic........i'm good for either place.....i think we need to do a tally and see who prefers what...i'll start a useless poll....then we'll have some numbers to go by....

Well i would go for one in Thunder Bay, i bet you would get over 100 people in the bay, jerry @ GMK was selling them like hot cakes
 
Hey guys I just talked to the gun shop today.The owner doesn't seem to have a problem. He says the classroom can hold around 30 people, and has overheads, internet ect. I'll pm Hungry and get him in contact with the shop :D:sniper:.
 
I have committed my time to the Service Rifle effort , supporting Mil units around the area this summer. Not sure exactly how my weekends are panning out, but my best guess is that I can come up to Sudbury or the SOO on the last Sat. :D That is only speculation. I owe you N. Ont folks a visit because my wife is from the SOO also.

So it is gonna happen but when? :rolleyes: That's the question. Besides harry-blackbeaver needs some more advanced M14 lessons, he's quite the expert these days after the Barrie clinic in Jan hooked him. :evil:

So TRD, aside from trying to decide where we will hold Hungry hostage for a day.....any plans on getting a few guys together for an "unofficial" day of fun with our pretty little M14's this summer. I would love to see a BBQ, some tweaking, and some shooting.

Waiting to see what happens with work, but an "unofficial" day sometime in June could be arranged.
