Northernrim .22LR Rifles are Now In-Stock!

Thanks, I'm not on instagram.

"Built on the stellar international reputation of theTurkish manufacturer, Girsan". is a strange way of not saying "made by Girsan"

It's also strange that there is no internet mention of Girsan building .22lr rifles.

Regardless, I hope they shoot well, are well built, and the parts supply will be large yet unneeded for a long time!

This is the second "out of the blue" soft launch with no CGN pre-release-hype by North Sylva this summer..... seems to be a new trend for them?
girsan doesnt build 22 rifles under their name

And Google AI says: "No, Girsan does not manufacture .22 LR rifles. As an official Turkish firearms manufacturer, their primary product lineup is strictly dedicated to centerfire pistols (such as their 1911 clones, High Power clones, and MC series) and pump-action or semi-automatic shotguns. [1, 2, 3].
It also says: "NorthernRim Rifle Co.'s CB22 series rifles are designed and manufactured in Canada, heavily associated with Canadian outdoor retailers. [1, 2, 3]. These .22 LR bolt-action rifles are uniquely built to be compatible with Ruger 10/22-style magazines. You can find specific models (such as the CB22A3W or CB22A3TS) in-stock across various Canadian sporting goods distributors like Tenda Canada and Bashaw Sports. [1, 2, 3]". Like you said in #35.
And this: "The Northern Rimfire CB22 rifle is manufactured by Northern Rim Rifle Co. in Ontario, Canada. While the exact workshop location is located within the province, these bolt-action rimfire rifles are distributed and sold at major Canadian sporting goods retailers such as Tenda Canada and Western Metal Inc.. [1, 2, 3]".
When asked about the exact location of the manufacturing facilities in Ontario, Google AI says: "Northern Rimfire/CB22 bolt-action rifles are not manufactured by a single, distinct factory owned by the brand itself. Instead, the "Northern Rim Rifle Co." brand and its CB22 line are manufactured under contract and distributed in Canada by North Sylva Sports, a major Canadian firearms distributor located in North York, Ontario. [1, 2]
The exact manufacturing facilities and company details:
  • Brand & Distribution: Northern Rim Rifle Company / CB22 rifles are distributed wholesale by North Sylva Sports, which is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. [1, 2]
  • Manufacturing Details: The rifles are produced under contract with manufacturing partners in Europe and distributed exclusively in Canada. [1]
most of this i believe is incorrect, except partially correct for the part that says they dont build 22 rifles, it should say they dont sell the 22 rifles they build under their name

girsan doesnt build 22 rifles under their name
Not sure if that's a question or a statement but it appears to be determined at some point soon...... :)

I don't really have the Turkish manufactures well mapped out in my head but from what I've gathered over the years there seems to be collaborations between some of them and clearly different quality levels depending on the target market.

Looking forward to your assessment when it arrives!

Someone will need to buy one and report here for us to get actual location of manufacture, and even that can mean many things. If the various parts are sourced from different countries and assembled here it could be labeled as built in Canada.
It could also be that Girsan makes the deal and someone else builds much or all of it, as is done among automakers like the Pontiac Vibe.

If it has the barrel quality of the Scorpio and the same tight action but with a wood stock and accepting 10/22 magazines, I’d love to get one. Scorpios are great, except for the pieces these rifles seem to address.

I just ordered 13” wood stock. I already have the Scorpio. I’ve fired at least 1500 rounds through the Scorpio. With a large assortment of different ammo. Mine is a 2 to to 2.5 moa shooter at 50 and 100 yards. When I get this new I’ll compare build quality and accuracy to the Scorpio and will give my 2 cents .
