Northernrim .22LR Rifles are Now In-Stock!

Precision rifle series
Thanks, I was more referring to how much better then 1moa a gun needs to be before it's considered PRS worthy.... :)

Sounds like the OP's gun shoots pretty good considering the barrel is still fresh and he's getting 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards with target ammo and 1 inch with Mini mags!

Looking forward to more info and range reports!

Hey John, apparently the truck broke down from Vancouver to the kootenays, it will be tomorrow, ive got two coming a wood shorty and a wood 20 with sights
Awwwwwww!......:(

I'm disappointed to hear these rifles are made in China..........

I do have to say they look kind of nice though. The Ruger 10/22 magazine application is also very cool!.......:)

We look forward to your report and pictures Bruce.......:)

I don't know if it's actually a bad thing that they're from China... Knowing the Turks usually don't produce 22lr, I wouldn't really want a first crack/generation of something, and the way my NS522 shot, if it's anything close to that, I have no problem with Chinese origin.

You cant really use the NS522 as the standard when thats the golden winner of reliable chinese accuracy. They were real golden goose's.

The JW15 is a more likely chinese end result....the horror.

The Winchester 22's of current manufacture are made in Turkey, along with the Springfield 2020 Rimfire, they have been at it for while.

Other retailers carrying it state 1/2-28, so most likely a typo.

Anyone that has a Scorpio could confirm if it's 1/2-28 as they look to be basically the same rifle.
My cousin has a scorpio, it is not 1/2-28; an AR flash hider would not fit. I don't think it is 1/2 20 either because the thread protector off of my Zastava does not fit it either; likely metric.

Looks like heavy stained beech to me, enough to hide the half moons and wide grain lol
They still could be Chinese made, when I first Googled them it said Turkish by Girsan, today it's Chinese, Turkish, or made in Canada by Savage lol.
Zero info on these until someone gets it in hand
Shellacked piss-willow. LOL

Is that the 13" or 20" barrel you tried the flash hider on? I have a 20" one and it's definitely a 1/2-20.

Well here they are, just opened the very nice box had a quick look and took the photos, looks like a CZ457 copy to me but i dont know. After a quick look, the trigger feels very good and crisp without creep and reasonably light pull, mag comes in and out well, bolt cycles smoothly mag well stain job could use some work, also looks like the receiver is dovetailed under the rail, pretty nice bluing, certainly worth the money if it shoots

Thanks for posting the pictures HH!
The stock looks about what you would expect for the money, fit looks ok, Does the wood seem soft?

Does the safety lock the bolt when it's on safe?

Looking forward to hearing how it shoots, if it shoots as well as the first review it's a keeper!

Safety does not lock the bolt, it can be cycled and ejected while on safe

Stock wood looks way better in person than the pics and doesnt feel soft like SKS wood
