Nosler '07 introductions

Nugget is using the 140gr .277's this year, I am trying the 200gr 8mm's and the 250gr 9,3's.

We aren't having much luck with accuracy yet but the nasty crosswinds don't seem to help much nor does my wife yelling from the house "are you almost done yet!?"

They are holding up well in the big blocks of pine. The 9,3's penetrate 15" when going 2700 from 30 yards away. Retention isn't what I thought it to be but that is a nasty test medium.

What powder are you using with the .277 140's? My first group with the 130's was less than half an inch with H4831.

It was either IMR4831 or H4831SC.
He is using a Browning BAR that seems to jam more often than not, quite typical from what I've heard. It may be the rifle or the shooter too, no, I know it is the shooter.:D
