Nosler 280 AI Loaded Neck OD

Hi all,

Wanted to order up my dies and neck bushing for my 280AI build. Could someone give me an average of 3 neck OD's for loaded rounds with Nosler 280 AI Brass please?

Save me some guessing on what bushing to get, thanks!

Hey Kale,
I loaded some up a while ago and was using the .309 bushing (light neck tension) but switched to a .308 (moderate neck tension) and you probably could go to the .307 for moderate to tight neck tension on bullets with Nosler 280AI brass. I can't remember what my neck OD was but something like .311-.312 on average?...don't quote me on this. Maybe someone else could help you. I just know that I'm using the .308 titanium carbide neck bushing right now in my die and works well for me.

that sounds about the same as mine and i used the.309. thanks
