Nosler 48 owners?

Just wondering what Nosler 48 owners past and present think of the rifles, any issues with them?
 
My shooting partner has one in 26 Nosler. You can usually count on a 4 inch group.:rolleyes: Accuracy guarantee my ass.

It gets worse from there, the dealer either doesn't know what to do about it, or doesn't GAF. Friend took his case up with Nosler at the SHOT show, and couldn't get a crooked answer never mind a straight one.

I have to say my friend has more patience than I do, I'd have snapped by now.

I wanted a Nosler 48 in 28 Nosler but after looking over and shooting one in another chambering I did not like it considering the cost.
So, I went with an LAW 704 Professional in 28 Nosler and I love it, will be the last rifle I part with.
Smooth, well made and super accurate, fits like a glove..
 
sigh .. thanks so much ....thats all I need - another ###y caliber that promises to fulfill all my wishes and makes my dreams come true ... and then I wake up to find out it was only a dream ....

Just bought one second hand, I've only shot factory ammo out of it. Not getting great groups out of it. Inch to inch and a quarter need to try handloads, but not over impressed with it.
 
I had one in 26 nosler. I got groups typically 1/2-3/4" with a couple handloads. Any issues I had were more realted to the 26 chambering than the rifle. I am not a fan of the thick wrist on the stock, and the feel of the safety. It wasn't positive at all, I like a detent to hold it in the safe position. Otherwise I liked the rifle, hunted with it a bit before my fierce showed up.

That was exactly my concerns with the Nosler built rifle that I handled, for me its just not user friendly.
On the other hand my LAW has a Bansner stock and they fit me better than any other..
 
Those Fierce are pretty much a Canadian made fancied up Sako with a limbsaver recoil pad. That's pretty much all they are. Neat rifles though. Id buy one over an actual Sako just for the fact its made in Canada.
 
Well its looking like a pass on the Nosler. I am slightly surprised there doesnt seem to be much enthusiasm related to them.

You will find plenty of enthusiasm for certain makes in the gun rags and these days TV infomercials. I suppose its much like whores; they get all the enthusiasm they can pay for.
